These colleagues have successfully obtained their certified diploma for the ATEX Fundamentals of Explosion Safety training at Koninklijke PBNA. One colleague from each department took part, from purchasing and sales to logistics and the workshop.
What's in it for you?
First of all, gentlemen, you should be proud of yourselves!
Because ATEX is not an easy subject. It involves legislation, zoning, coding and explosive atmospheres. Topics you may encounter on a daily basis in industries such as chemicals, feed and food processing, or waste management.
Nice, of course, but...
This training gives our colleagues a broader understanding of everything related to explosion protection, including regulations and ATEX classifications.
For example, our sales team can correctly interpret the nameplate information you send us. Especially with ATEX, a single letter can make a significant difference. They also gain a better understanding of the environment in which an ATEX motor will ultimately operate. This helps them understand why certain choices are essential for safe operation.
That way, you can trust that you receive the ATEX motor you ordered.
Why is that important?
Because ATEX is ultimately not just about technology; it is primarily about safety. It is about the people who work every day in environments where an explosive atmosphere may be present. That is something we should never take lightly.
Colleagues, well done!
For some, the course was easier than for others, but everyone invested time and effort. We truly appreciate that.
And achievements like this call for cake. Custom-made cake. Delicious!
Thank you, gentlemen!
A special thank you as well to De Techniek Academie, where our colleagues were able to take their exam. We greatly appreciate being able to make use of your facilities.
